odd but true

From the files of the strange but true. This morning when I came into my classroom my protein skimmer was pumping away but no foam. In a dead panic I shut the pump down and did a complete clean and inspection, nothing wrong, ran down all the hoses: no kinks or obstructions. My skimmer has a valve on the air intake port. Possible, but I really think she went there on purpose since she was in the middle of nest building. A clear case of another gal given me a head ache (tongue in cheek!!) ha ha

Off topic, Briney, just curious where you studied oceanography?

I took one class through OSU and a Course out at New Hamphire, the rest I had to piece together on the job. Geology and Marine bio helps . I did most of that undergrad work at BGSU
