I currently have a 65w PC 50/50 light in my eclipse 3 hood and would like to upgrade a bit of lighting... nothing fancy, yet, just something to help out the corals until I upgrade.

Anyways, I am getting rid of the eclipse hood because it eats butt and would like to build a nice wood canopy. I have two ideas for lighting and would like to know what would be the best idea.

Would it be better to have two 65w PC bulbs? or should I have the 65w PC along with two 20w NO bulbs?

A follow up question to both of these would be: For two PC bulbs should I have two 50/50 bulbs or an actinic and a 10k or a 50/50 and something else?
With the PC and NO setup, what kind of bulbs would be best?

thanks for your help, sorry for all of the questions.

I have a 29g tank with 2x55 W PC and it's fine for soft corals. The bulb choice is primarily a matter of taste, but I have one blue and one 10k, and think it's okay. I have another 29g with one 150W MH, and it's better for high-light corals like Acropora.
