what are some reef safe fish that are compatible with perc. clowns, clown goby's, scooterr blenny and mandarins? that will also eat hair algae and not nip corals? my tank is a 60 gal, mixed with sps, softies and lps, most every variety of coral

i was looking at the lawnmower blenny, but i heard they nip sps and clams and i plan to hav a clam in the future, so i decided against, so what are sopme good fish for algae?

i would go with a lettuce nudi they eat hair algea and one will easily survive in your tank for a while. THey dont have short life spans.

I would have said Foxface last week until I caught him chowing down on my elegant coral. He hasn't bothered any of the others but I'm still probably gonna get rid of him because it's too risky. Tangs are the best reef safe algae eaters, pick one. I personally like the chevron and sohal tangs.

if you decide to get a lettuce nudi, make sure you cover intakes and such.

rainfords are good for algae too as already mentioned. mine even eats cyanobacteria

hope you suceed in ridding yourself of the hair algae - i have the same problem lol

lol, its not my param. too its my darn bulbs i have to switch them out, but now that its started i need to finish it off, the rainfords looks like a prime candidate, just wish it didnt cost so much

Go with a nice yellow or Red Sea.

Do rainfordi gobies eat the green hair algae? I was looking for another peaceful fish in my 37 gal tank.

I've got a sailfin blenny that keeps my lawn mowed. Lots of personality, too.

My lawnmower blenny doesn't touch my algae...he only eats the film algae on the glass, and the prime reef, and forumla one flakes that i put in the tank.

will rainfords goby's eat macro algae too...such as chaeto?
