Hello,
I have upgraded my lighting to MH so I no longer need these.
They worked like a charm over my 80 gallon and are only one year old.

Each kit includes;

One- electronic ballast that runs 2 55watt pc bulbs
two- sockets with waterproof endcaps
one- two bulb reflector with bulb brackets
one- protective lens for the reflector

The color is all black so they look sleek

I know these sell for close to $140 new

$50 per set, 4 sets total
Located for pickup in Fullerton near CSUF

I am also looking for (to trade)

Coral;
Acanthastrea Lords, Echinata or others
Echinopora or echinophyllia
Oxypora

Gear;
Overflow box
Rowaphos
Phosban reactors
Polyfilters
175 watt metal halide bulbs

Thanks!

what brand are the lights

They say PLS-Professional lighting systems on the ballasts
The previous owner of the tank got them when he bought everything new and he didn't skimp on price for anything (euroreef skimmer, aqua logic cyclone chiller etc) so I assume these are on par

Is each kit they side by side, or end to end? If they are end to end, I want one. I can trade you some 175w bulbs or cash.

They are side by side so the reflector is;
22" long X 7" wide X 2" tall

Also they are the german? straight pin (....) configuration
so it's easy to find bulbs cheap

I'm looking for 14K bulbs

I'll post a pic,
I have two of the sets mounted on a board so they can be hung over a prop tank and two dissassembled.

They are a good size because it is cheap to ship the 22" 55watt bulbs and you can find them cheap on ebay for $10/bulb

They are just under 48" when 2 sets are end to end like is shown so they fit inside a 48" tank's hood perfectly, one set would fit inside of a 24" tank's hood with no problems

They have the two piece endcaps so no water gets in

High quality german "M" reflector with lens for maximum light and maximum safety

They can be mounted in even the tightest hoods at 2" tall

I'd like three I think. I need to ask you some questions and I'd prefer to do by phone. I'm off to work and wont be home until about 9 tonite. Can you PM a number and I'll call you or can you call me today 661-860-4256. I need to replace two sets of lights on my 60 and I need to retro a 29T so this might be just what I'm looking for.

One Kit left,

perfect for retrofitting your sump as a frag area/refugium

perfect for that 24"-30" wide tank you have been waiting to turn into a frag tank

perfect for a quarantine tank for your new babies

I even have a pine board you could take to mount it on, it just needs a trim and a new hole for the trimmed off eyebolt

First $50 takes it

Installed yesterday and they are great.

Hey everyone,
I bought three of these and they are worth 2-3 times what he's asking. Don't miss out!
