I use rowa phophate remover (iron oxide/hydroxide)in my tank and it takes out the phosphate very well,but my magnesium levels are low.which kind of phophate remover do you use in your tank and why?

I don't think the Rowaphos caused your low magnesium.

you might want to look at the mg levels of the salt you are using. The ROWAphos will not affect the mg level of your systems
