I just checked my water carbonate hardness and my calcium. I redid the tests too to make sure I was right. My Calcium is great at 560. My carbonate hadnes or DKH is only 1 yes ONE!

How do I raise it without shooting the calcium through the roof?
I had not tested the ph or calcium or alk for a few weeks

my PH is at 7.6
No3 No4 ammonia are all 0

I have a 29 with a 15 gallon sump. Total actual water is about 30 gallons.

I have the Homemade Two-Part Calcium and Alkalinity Additive System. I tested the alk additive and it actually tests at <1 dkh. Is this right?

How did you measure it? 1 dKH is unlikely to be a real value (although it is not impossible).

What kit? How much titrant was added?
