PH and Salinity

Hi Randy,

I've recently decided to lower my salinity from 1.025~1.026 to 1.023~1.024. Yesterday I lowered it from 1.026 to 1.025 slowly by dripping more kalk top off and today it's on it's way to 1.024. But I noticed this morning at 8am my PH is at 8.1 and normally it's at 8.2. Could this be the cause of the decrease in salinity?

Since it's been raining very hard down here in socal, I'm also wondering if the air/moisture/lack of sunshine contribute to the overall low oxygen/higher co2 content in my house.

I don't think that lowering salinity slightly by increasing limewater top off can be an explanation for reduced pH.

Closed windows will contribute to elevated CO2 in your home, which will in turn reduce pH. :)
