Help w/MAG5 Pump

I am building a refugium and am using a MAG 5 as a return pump. The return part of the pump has a threaded end and I was wondering how you set up your return line with that threaded end. I want to use flexible tubing so is there an adapter etc I need. What inside diameter tubing? Thanks.

Slip the tubing on the threaded end.

Do I need a plastic clip or something to hold it on?

Home depo carries male barb adapters.I used 5/8'" Id hose also from HD.You will not need a clamp but if it makes you feel better HD also carries plastic tube clamps!

you can get barb fittings that fit both ends. the mag 5 has 1/2" threads so just get a barb with the same size threads and whatever size barb you want to use.
