Does anyone have any experience with this piece of equipment? I am colorblind, and it seems as though this would be of great assistance in getting accurate test measurements.

I've not used it, but here are some related threads:

Thanks Randy, I guess my next question is whether or not the built in error caused by the freswater/saltwater differential is comparable to the built in error of the visually read test kits.
Also, are there test kits that you like in particular for routine pars?

I don't know the answer to the first, but Boomer usually has opinions on it, so perhaps he'll chime in.

For alkalinity, LaMotte, Hach, Seachem, and Salifert make fine kits.

For calcium, I've used and like Hach and Salifert.
