ive got a via pump that is to powerful for my overflows(i just removed a check valve out and and it gained alot of flow back). Whats the best way besides a valve to throttle this pump back, cause the blasted valve makes it louder

Insert a T in the line with the flow diverted back to the sump - with a ball valve on the return to the sump portion

You can move some of the water back to the sump and it will also not place backpressure on the pump as I am not sure the via pumps are pressure rated. Given the noise you are hearing they probably aren't and you are damaging in the pump if you merely place a valve on the return line.
