How can Kent's Liquid Reactor be a mixed calcium/alkalinity solution?

I thought you couldn't mix calcium and alkalinity additives?

Here's what I'm referring to if your not familiar with it.

I'm sure this won't have an effect on pH and PO4 like dripping kalk does, but I'd like to give it a try as I'm tired of shaking bottles for kalk...

I'm not a fan of Liquid Reactor or similar products (Aragamilk). They are largely fine particles of calcium carbonate that I believe do not dissolve much when added to tank water.

I describe and review them here:

Calcium Carbonate as a Supplement (Aragamight; Liquid Reactor)

FWIW, Kent claims in threads on RC that Liquid Reactor dissolves more than I claim, but without explaining how that could happen, I am disinclined to accept it.

I thought it sounded too good to be true...thanks Randy!

I guess I'll go mix up some more Kalk....
