Randy,
...Do you need my address to send me a bill for this excellent information you paid, good hard money to learn;) Another Product. This time I ordered it then recieved the files about this Zeobest".There is a part,in the second link,I think, the one that has about the backflushing tag on the bottom of the page, andrefers to rechargeing this stuff. The way I understand it............A "salt water soulution" is used to make the grains give up the toxins they have accumulated.Every thing was sounding (the link talks to you in a very sexy womans voice) better than carbon and easier to regenerate:cool: Then it mentions using salt water to regerate it:eek1: Sound like the one thing I want to use it for will just make it repel the ions I want it to hold while using it in a filter. They make it clear that this is not a biological filter but dang.I already ordered $150 worth of this stuff.Back to raising Discus if it is what I percieve it to be:lol:

While some zeolites may have some capacity to bind ammonia and other ions of interest in seawater, it is greatly reduced in activity relative to freshwater, and I generally wouldn't use them or expect them to accomplish much in a reef aquarium.

What do you want to have it accomplish?

.....Just trying to get a better filtration. It reads that down to 3 microns it will filter.I know not to use sand in a sand filter but I got caught up in that it was better than carbon.I am trying to change my order now to their best carbon.I ordered 100#s of this stuff.Free Shipping;)

I think carbon is a much better choice for a marine aquarium. :)

...Thanks Randy,I am not scared to try something new but from what I understand now. This Zplus could wipe out my reefs if I was to stop and start everyday.:o
