Randy,

Parameters as follows in my tank

ALK 3.31 DKH 9.3
Calcium 410
PH 7.9(morning)

Heres my question......

If I maintain a high alkalinity(I plan to go higher), will it also maintain this ph, or will over time excess CO2 in the room drive the ph low again even though the alkalinity is maintained high????

you need to read this issue by Randy, you keep starting new threads for the same problem, a searchers nightmare.

How you maintain alkalinity will have more bearing on the final pH than the actual alkalinity level that you maintain (although all other things being equal, higher alkalinity does lead to higher pH). High pH systems, like limewater and some of the two part additives raise pH a lot. Other systems lower pH.
