How much temp fluctuation should be okay for a tank.
I have starting using my 2 400w MH's over my 180gal tank. The fish room is in the hottest room in the house as it is due to the big window facing south. Not a problem without the MH's but with both on my tank is going from a 78.8 (which is keep there via heater) to close to 83 with MH's. We are having unseasonably warm wheater here in Oklahoma. At 10:00 PM it is still 70. Snow last week and now I am wearing shorts.
