white dots growing everywhere

In the last week these little white dots have starting popping up I have no idea what they are. There on all the rocks and all over the coraline algea. This happend after my last water change.

Are they also on the glass? Do they look kinda like a spiral?
If so then it is a small form of fan worm.. spirulina (sp?) I believe.
I had a "bloom" of them when I started my tank up and still get it from time to time... in fact there was a shiznit load of them in my old skimmer!!!

A picture or a description would be needed. My guess are crustaceans or worms (don't panic, they're benign).

Those damn things are all over my tank right now, I just scrape em of. between those and coraline it is amazing I can see into my tank ever.

I think I had those fo awhile but than they disapeard. I don't think they are bad.

I'm just wondering where the hell all these white dots came from. They don't move, my tanks been up for 4 months now. I haven't added anything to it in a while and after my last water change these things explode

I get em now and again, no explosions though. Small, curly hard barnacle like things.
