Vendors at the swap Yes/NO?

I need help seting up the poll button thing here so hopefully a Mod will do that for me...:)
At the next All Ohio Swap should there be vendors?
Not my question at all but it was brought to my attention. I vote for sure yes as it gives new people and experienced reefers a chance to by something at a usually cheaper price. And the people that don't have any frags to trade a good reason to go knowing that there will be stuff for sale.
So a YES for vendors or NO

The only reason I say yes is because they bring alot of corals to the swap that wouldn't be there. But I do think that the vendors take away from individuals that want to trade. I had to almost give frags away at the last one, because everyone was buying from the vendors. Not alot of swapping going on. Maybe we should call it the All Ohio Coral Sale.

But .... I did buy some corals from vendors. They had better selection of corals than most people. I still wanted to trade, just not alot of people to trade with.

I agree with pizza. The vendor's are there to make money. There is no reason that they cannot help to defray the cost of the meet.

The far west side makes it a long dirve for those of us in Youngstown and/or Pittsburgh. Streetsboro, near the turnpike may be best. I don't mean to derail the discussion, just putting in my 2 cents. I guess if it is in Vermillion I would still go.

The location has yet to be nailed down. We are looking into room sizes, days of availablity, price, electrical load capacity etc..... Should know more soon. We will let everyone know as soon as we find out, with the holidays people with the answers we need have been hard to get ahold of at some potential locations.

I know no matter where it is it will be a drive for some. the farther east it is the longer drive for people from Michigan, Toledo Indy etc.... the farther west longer for those towards PA. We are trying to make sure it is as close to major highways etc... as possible to make it as easy for everyone as we can.

I know at the OCA we have our big weekend event at the Strongsville holiday in. they have a Huge room but I don't know anything about cost or anything

It would be nice to have it in more central Cleveland location.maybe somewhere around I77 & I80 That way it would be fair for both the people to the east ,west and south. I would'nt worry about the people to the north the lake has to be way to cold this time of year to swim anyway;););)

Some place off I77, between 271 and 480 would seem pretty central for particpants in this forum. At least, a compromise from anything to far north or west.
