How long of a delay do your metal halides have?

When I turn my 250W mh's on, they sometimes take up to 5 minutes to come on. I know that if they are hot it take awhile to relight, but this is first thing in the morning...is this normal? Thanks in advance.:confused:

.....I have a double 175.One side takes about 10 to 15min,no matter which bulb is in that side.As long as the come on I am not going to screw with fixing it.Sometimes I fix thing so good I have to buy a new one:lol:

I run 250w DE PFO's and they fire/warm up as soon as the timer turns them on.
Probably about a min before the bulb is fully lit.

2-5 min is as per manufacturer spec but 2-10 min is nothing to worry about
