Anyone use this and if so can you tell me dosing requirements?

I have a 520g system.

Thanks!

Picling lime? You mean a kalkwasser type thing to dose calcium?

Here's an article on dripping kalk/lime with instructions on how to make a doser on the cheap. It should explain most of what you want to know.

yeah, it will be around 1-2 tsp per gallon of RO/DI water. I have been using it for a while now. Whatever is left over from the first batch can be used for the second, just add more water and it will dissolve until saturation.

The vinigar helps to lower the pH of the Kalkwasser (Calcium Water) for people that need to add a lot of it. This usually happens when a tank has a high Ca demand and the aquarist uses forced evaporation (fans) to cool the tank from all the lighting. The pH of Kalkwasser is around 13 so you can imagain that if you have to add 5% of the volume daily, the pH effects will be noticable. I add about 1 gallon daily to my 55 and don't have any problems with it.
