I have a massive algae problem with both red cyno and bubble. The bubble is everywhere. What causes it? My phosphates are at 0. Any suggestions? New reef set up. It has been running for about 6 months with nothing in it except for LR with a skimmer and agronate base. Just recently put a couple ricordia in. All water levels are ok with the exception of Alk being around 7.5.

A strong nutrient supply drives it, and the levels can appear very low as the algae are sucking it up as fast as it arrives.
I'd look to export more phosphate, and this article may help:

You might also look into organisms that may eat the valonia, such as certain crabs.
The alkalinity is 7.5 dKH, or 7.5 meq/L? 7.5 dKH is fine, IMO.
