BIG BIG bags of Chaeto for sale

Ok, I see that alot of people are selling off their extra Chaeto. Here is what I have to offer. I'm selling one gallon ziplock bags of Chaeto. These are not the stingy sandwich size bags or even the quart bags, these are the big one gallon freezer bags 10 9/16" x 11". Now my fuge has all the same critters as everyone elses(or claims to have) the only diffence is maybe my substrate, which is 1/2" of Southdown, 1/2' of GARF grunge, 1" of GARF grunge plus, and about 25# of live rubble.

Now a little about my Chaeto. I have 4 different strains of chaeto( I used to have more but threw away the weakest and least hardiest). I have taken the best and have trimmed and combined them to make a very strong and hardy strain. This Chaeto is very thick in its strands and compacts very densely. The growth is very quick, about four fold every week under two 42watt twisted CF bulbs. I have a couple of fuges full but I'm not exactly sure how many bags I'll have on hand since this is my first time to harvest(normally I just throw away enough to fill a twenty gallon cooler every week).

I'm asking $20 shipped Priority.

I know this is more than what others sell for but you will get 4-5 times more than what they have to offer.

If you would like I can throw in some banana caulerpa. This stuff outgrows all the other caulerpa types I have and it floats so it doesn't become a problem by attaching to the rock. I'll also make sure you get a few stomatellas since they are everywhere in my tanks and multiply like there's no tommorrow.

So there it is - one gallon of chaeto a couple of extra goodies for $20 shipped. I promise you won't be disappointed by the amount.

just got my package of chaeto today..... everything arrived just as described.. im satisfied but there was a small problem however.....

there was a small amount of dieoff of the chaeto in the bag.... it was mush. the residual water left was pretty cold so im guessing part of it died due to the cold. any critters that hitched along a ride for my bag didnt make it was well. maybe a bigger heatpack could work?

despite these issues i was pleased with the amount of chaeto that came in the bag. definately a lot more for my money than what i normally get for $15. I would definately do business again in the future :thumbsup:

Got it and it was mush, sorry but the critters died, also I thought that we might be getting abit more, but the chaeto was very nice and thick.

Sorry about your package. I feel resposible for letting these go out during the Christmas holidays. I will make it up to you guys who have responded. About the amount, you can see how many sandwich bags you can fill with the amount I sent and you'll see your getting a very good deal for the price. A single sandwich bag fetches anywhere from $10-$15 dollars. I just wanted to clear that up for others that are interested.

I do thank you for your praises Chrash236 and all the others who have responded. My apologies for the slow shipping(actually USPS's fault)I will make it up when the weather permits.

Also this is a diff kind of Chaeto than I've received in the past. My old Chaeto was very green and very "curly". A very slow grower that caused me problems in the past. Dsallis Chaeto is more pale and staight and it has doubled in size in a very short time. I was just tryin to get some diversity of critters in the fuge.
