how is my first attempt at aquascaping my tank? :) i kinda like it, looks a lil sparse but i like the look oflots of sand :)

btw its aboug 53 lbs of rock, 29 fiji, and 24 Marshall/Vanuatu :)

not bad for a first timer! Personally i would invert some of your rocks to create some more arches. many fish i have love them not to mention they look cool. If you do this you are bound to have an avalanch or two but it happens.

know what you mean, but i was thinking more about the coral i want to add at some point, and also dont want to have a rockslide haha :)

there are types of expoxy you can buy that are reefsafe. You can glue your rocks together.

Had my first avalanche last night. Ended up spending about 2 hours rebuilding the arch - and then fell off the wet step ladder on my way down!

You could add more arches/caves. I'd probably try to create a cove, a little off-center on either side of the tank just to add more interest. You have some interesting rock pieces there.

if you feel the urge for more rocks for your aquascaping, which you might decide if you're so inclined, you could make a support structure out of PVC connections which would give you more flexibility as in terms of aquascaping as well as less dead spots for flow
