I am having some sort of problem in my 100g tank. I started the tank up in September and have been through the diatom algae and slight hair algae bloom. Recently, my tank has developed some weird sort of white, fuzzy growth on the back of the tank and powerheads. It is very slimey to the touch and looks like a white algae of sorts. Has anyone seen this before? What is it/could be causing this? The stuff on the back glass originally looked like hair algae and seems to have bleached out but has not gone away. My tank parameters are normal:

Ammonia~0 ppm
Trates~0 ppm
Trites~0 ppm
ph~8.2
SG~1.025
Don't know about phosphates
Ca~375
Alk~3.0 meg/L

The tank currently has no fish, only some SPS frags and a small cleanup crew. I am going to start doing some water changes this weekend with the hope it will go away.

I dont know exactly what it is, but I do have some in similar places in my tank. The big turbos clean it up real well.
You might want to blast it off with a powerhead or turkey baster to get it into the water column so it can be pulled out by the skimmer.
My guess is excess nutrients, which you likely dont have much of - or its just one of those NTS funks that should clear out in time.
