overflow box noise

Are there any quiet over flow boxes, I have an all acrylic one, I just put a larger pump on it and wow, jet plane.

Are you talking about a hang on or an internal overflow?

Try a durso or stockman standpipe in the overflow and that should take care of any noise issue you have.

I did a stockman on mine a couple of weeks ago, unbelievable difference. Do a search on the DIY section for stockman and you will find a thread on how to make one.
