aqua fx barracuda ro/di filter

does anyone out there have any suggestion or comment re: the aqua fx barracuda ro/di filter.

i am considering purchasing this unit... in detail it is a ro/di 4stage unit 100 gpd with a tft ro membrane and a color changing di filter... it sels for $179.00 plus $25.00 s&h... is this a good product? is this what I should be paying for this?

any suggestions are welcome. I thank you in advance.

I have been using on the barracuda for almost a year now and the only problem I have ever had was when I forgot to shut it off ): big puddle in the garage. I use it often and have not yet needed to change the filters.

How do you determine that the cartridges to not need to be changed?

The DI cartridge will chance color so you will know when it need to be replaced.
