it is not a good idea to drink DI water, check out KENT'S web page on the matter

sorry beesgonewild I was reading the threads, They are all ways conflicting?/!! But my Kent DI filter says it is not recommended to drink DI water due to the lack of minerals, electrolites and Bad taste Plus it removes all the ammonia which if not drank right away it could go bad fast & if the cartridge has a dye in it for color change, it also might not be good .IMO, I would not drink it .Kent says to put a tee in the line between the RO and the DI filters ,I have this set up and off that tee,I have pressure system with a sink tap
But like I said there is all ways a differant in opinion!!/??

hehe thanks reef boy i just went to bjdamico's link and then to another link off that one from a year ago that explained it. Very interesting those chem forum people are..lol.. anyway the thread nearly exploded my brain and i guees there's no rock solid evidence on it. anyway check out the links its a good/funny read.lol..bed time, my head hurts...lol
