Leaky Bulkhead Help Quick

I have a bulkhead that is leaking. Not sure if I should tighten it. May break it. Also what can I use to tighten it if that is the best thing. I don't have a wrench big enough. Ok help quick thanks. Oh and the washer is on the wet side that is right, right?

the washer does go on the wet side, so that is correct. i think your going to have to use a wrench. if not try wrapping something around it to get a better grip. i just hand tightened mine, by turning the whole bulkhead and holding the "nut" (for lack of real term) still. i then put a large set of channel locks on it and tightened it down a little.
