Saturday, Henry came down and we aquascaped my 550. All the rock had been in my 150 gallon rubbermaid tub for 2 weeks. We started a little before 1:00, and Henry left a little after 10:00. It was a heck of a project.
The pictures aren't that great. I will get some better ones. Almost the entire structure is secured in place with Thorite. I would conservatively estimate that we used 20-25 smaller pieces of live rock and 8-12 medium pieces, and 3-4 extremely large rocks. Henry did all the rock placement and mortaring. The rock wall on the left of the tank is awesome, and I will get better pictures that do it justice. It is made up almost totally of small pieces of rockwork
This picture was taken right after I dumped the sand in and drained the water I used to rinse it. I used a mixture of aragamite, carib seafloor, and some larger substrate with shells, etc.

This picture was taken after we finished. The tank was still somewhat cloudy from the silt, etc stirred up as the water was added.

Thanks again Henry!
