HI ALL REEFERS,

Want to know what the best Mh lighting would be best for a 75 gallon tank. Can they be used in conjunction with PC lighitng? What is a fair price and were?

I would stick with 250 watts/ 14 k or 20k metal halide. With 20 k, you don't need your PC lights anymore.

I have a 72 bow and I have hamilton dual pendants, 250 watts 14k de bulbs. I feel I can keep anything with this lighting. Reeftanklighting.com is a good place to look for lighting for your tank.

For my 75 I went with 2x 250w PFO pendants with Hamilton 14K bulbs also 220w of VHO actinics (one white, one super r).

You could use PC's in place of VHO's.

I would run 2-250w MH 10k with nothing else. You would want to look at some tanks to see what you like the look of.
