I would like to start a 10 gallon saltwater tank. I'd like to know the min amount of live rock I can put in with one clown fish. I do know I need about 10 lbs of live rock but I cannot get it right away.

What other means of filtratoin will you have in the tank?

When will you be setting it up ?
If you cannot afford 10lbs of LR right away, perhaps you should wait a while till you can afford to set it up properly. It is a very expensive hobby at the best of times ! (as I;m sure most people here will agree. ) :)

You don't need any live rock as long as you have sufficient biological filtration, perhaps in a power filter. This hobby doesn't have to be expensive but usually ends up that way since people get bored of fish only after a while.

I have a regular filter in it already--the current is pretty strong. I did go to my lfs but they would not sell me any since it is a 10 gallon. It was pretty wierd since a fiend of mine went there and they sold her some.
