My Box Fish Died and Poisned the tank Help?

My FFS said to remove a 100% of water and sand bed? and bio balls to save the tank. I the live rock ok?
90 gal uv, boi ball trickle, skimmer, no fish as the Box wiped out the tank!

Do the biggest water change you can, leave the substrate alone and put some carbon to suck any toxine left.

ps BTW you should consider removing your bioballs in the near future.

The reason for the removal of the bioballs isn't because of the poison, it is because they are a nitrate factory.

Definitely carbon, water change, etc.
