Does anyone uses this fixture or have used it before? I'm planning to get this one for my 75 gal and just curious what you guys out there think about this PC?

i use a smaller one for my 29gallon. i think its the 30 inch version. I like it becouse of the Moonlights, and its kinda nifty looking. I keep soft leathers and a plate coral underneath it. I also have a carpet anenomie that is growing out of control(although i dont recommend anyone do this). If you plan on keeping a lot of diffrent corals i would look into a metal hallide or some other stronger light.

BeesGoneWild,
Any loud noise coming out of the fan? Have you had any problems whatsoever?

I have a 36" and a 20" on my 40 gal tank. I love this light fixture. My corals are growing out of control. The fans come on with the daylights.. a little noisy but i think my overflow is louder than the fans.

I have one less then a month old and really love it.

They did have some fan noise problems before and they replaced the fan with all ball bearing fans and mine is so quiet I do not hear it.

I also love the moon lights never had them before but really like the effect they create.

Two very big thumbs up for me

yes moon lights create and awesome effect! I would reccomend for any shallow tank but i have noticed the deeper you go, the less light from PC's reach the bottom! but still very intense for a shallow reef! would definatley buy again!

I have a 48" on my 75gal cichlid tank since March, and I love it. Very quiet, great moonlights, very cool at night. I am going to get a 36" one for my new 38gal reef tank that I am setting up now. Has anyone seen the new Satellite with Lunar Light????? Just wondering?????

I have decided on the 36" with 3 lunar lights for my 38 gallon. Right now its a FOWLR, but with these lights I think I may be able to get into some low-med light inverts and corals.

I will post pics when I can.

Thanks to everyone who has chimed in...definately made my decision much easier.
