micro bubles/ sand

Well my tank has been cycling for 3 weeks and I still see little particles in the water. I honestly can't ell if its' my oolite sand or air bubbles... but if it is how do I prevent those from getting into my display tank...

How can you see micro bubbles? I mean, they're in micro sizes. :) Joke aside, are there any string/hair algae?

Baffles in the sump are the easiest way of correcting bubble from getting into your display. Chances are its still the sand settling in the tank though since your tank is so young.

Just curious what does hair algae have to do with particles in the water?

good point on the bubbles... I think it's sand to but it takes this long to settle? it's been 3 weeks

It could take quite awhile before all the sand settles, adding some filter floss somewhere in your filtration will help in removing some of the free floating sediment.
