Hello all.
First time posting, fairly new to the hobby.

55 Gal Reef Tank
10 Gal refugium

In my refugium I have chaeto growing pretty well. Its to the point now where its almost too much though (if thats possible). How do I go about grooming?? Should I just cut it back with scissors? Or is there something that will eat the chaeto and help me maintain a certain level of growth and regrowth??

Thanks
DP

To Reef Central!

Just gently pull it apart and sell it (or toss it).
You're presumably growing it to "export" nitrates, go getting it out of the tank is the idea. If something ate it you'd soon have poop, and that's more nitrates, not less :eek2:
