Hi,
I Have this problem, in my 2-3 moths set up aquarium, i have 2 shrimps, the Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis) and the blood red fire Shrimp (Lysmata debelius), and after 2 moths and a half, they start to show some black spot in their body, but seems to be inside of the body and not spot over the body.
My parameters are good, and i have inside the tank some zoanthus, feather dusters, one linckia star, one radianthus malu, several blue legs, and 2 chromis viridis... today my cleaner shrimp have die, and the red fire, it seem that is changing their skin but seem to be to week, (the water flow send him for all parts of the tank) so i really dont know what is happing, i have hear that some insuficient in Iodine or another suplement can cause this kind of disease or make the shrimp do not change their skin in good way and kill him in the process of changing the skin... i will appreciate if any one can help me with this problem
