I havent been logged on in a long time and tried searching for the onyxs with no luck. I remember alot of you guys used to breed some rare clowns and I was wondering if any one is breeding the Onyx variation of true perculas. If so whats the going rate for juveniles. Thanks alot everyone

I have two spawning pairs right now. They are just now getting to the point that they are tending their nests without a lot of prehatch loss. So it is going to be months before I have any ready to move.

Rob has been breeding them for sometime now and Inland has been breeding them for sometime too. I am sure you could contact them for some now.

I have seen CB going for $20 to $80.

how do i reach rod buehler, im in nyc and am very intersted in a pair of ocellaris for myself, nothing super rare or fancy but just a bunch of them for my tanks (the others i had did carpet dives) :( its kinda depressing seeing a pair of clowns loose the other clown, they just dont look happy when their mate is missing :( i was honestly depressed for about 3 days

I don't believe fingerwrinkles are the onyx variety (correct me if I'm wrong) which may account for a lower price, where Rod's are the onyx variant.

Here is the 2 I have coming.. they are the 2 in the center.. These are about 12 month old so they should color a little more.. I am hoping they are Onyx as they were not cheap by any means...

I called Inland Aquatics yesterday and they informed me that they sold their LAST pair of A. Polymnus that I've been searching FEVERISHLY for :furious:

I did not ask them about Ocellaris, but they'd be worth a shot. I'm also looking for the blk/white variety of the clowns.

And the search continues :(

dieselraver i see you live in queens...Yesterday i was up at Absolutely Fish which is very close to NYC on route 46 in jersey. They had a pair of true percs for 110 a pair pf clarkis for 90 i beleive, brown saddle back pair for 110 and they even had a single white cap clown for sale (199). I couldnt support the white cap in my tank right now but it was still very interesting to see in person the clown that everyone always drouls over on these forums. Hope this helps on your hunt

the cap on the top was complete but one strip that came up the side of the face to form almost the bonnet appearance wasnt alll the way up to the cap...maybe 1/2 cm from the top
