CO2 Tanks new and used where to buy?

I am having some difficulty finding a CO2 tank locally. Probably not looking in the right place. Where will I find used or new tanks?

chwattscaw, check your local welding supply house, they will rent them, and sell them to you, new or used.

Welding supply, most any place that sells keg beer or a place that sells home brewing supplies.

Look in the yellow pages under Airgas or Praxair....Where I live Airgas is much cheaper.

I agree with going to the welding supply place. Usually they will have tanks to sell for beverage consumption, they are where you would go to fill it up anyway, and you can actually rent them as a strategy. You put the deposit down, rent the 5lb or 10lb cannister, then when you go back for a refill, they will give you a newer tank that is certified , of course keeping the deposit. after years of doing this, you can turn in your final cannister, get the deposit back, and would never have bought the tank.
