maroon pairing question for the experts

Having read the FAQ, i am curious; do i need to pair up a large female GSM w/ a small juvi/male while she is in QT. Because it occurs to me that it took me over 2 months to get my A. poly's out of QT and into the display tank. That being said, and knowing that a clown fish can go from male to female in as little as 30 days makes me wonder how to go about finding a suitable mate for her using the method described in the Faq once she is in the display. Or do you just make sure the new clown is so small that there is no way it could be change while in QT? Any help would be appreciated in this matter.

I like to pair in the QT tank, been very successful with it. Generally takes and overnighter, but most of the time they are bonded by morning.

That's what i was thinking but i was concerned that if it took 3 or 4 diff. males to find one she liked, wow... that would be a long time.
