I'm at the tail end of quarantining the only 4 fish which survived a nasty bout of ich. They've been in QT since the 20th of last month. I'm sure the ich is cleared out of the main tank by now and don't want to re-introduce it. I think I read that even inverts can carry ich, and so I'm inferring that they need to be QT'ed before putting them in the main tank. My question is, how do you QT inverts? What can I feed shrimp, snails, etc which generally live off of detritus to keep them alive?

While inverts cannot be infected by Cryptocaryon, they can be a vector to introducing the disease. The cyst stage could hitchhike in attached to the shell or the free-swimming stage could be rbought in with the water used to trasnport them.

Shrimp will eat just about anything offered and I have had pretty good luck with feeding snails in QT nori. See here for more information,

Quarantine for at least 1 month. Cysts will die out.
