Nice. How do you like the S1? I like mine, but it has occasional poor focusing in low light situations. I got a wide angle and teleconvetor lenses, and the focusing with the telecconvertor is poor unless it is pretty bright out. Other than that one bug I love it. I am wondering if the camera is defective or normal for this camera.
I just got it bud and havent really gone nuts yet.It is wayyyy better than the kodak 6200 I have.
I love the camera .Do you use any custom settings to get real good pics of your tank.Like macros of SPS polyps?

I haven't tried macro shots of my tank yet because I want to get a macro lens, I think I'll go try some shots now.

Nice, Jay. Good use of that 24" front to back.
Is that your final lighting set-up; bluer on the right and whiter on the left?
No I ordered two 14k bulbs and got a 10 and 14k from CV.They are the worst company I ever dealt with.I am going with 14k .

Nice set up!! lots of good stuff in there too. I see you have a nice big brain coral in there. I just picked one up on a zoo frag. 25 bucks :D I was only looking at the zoo's when I made the purchase. When I got home, and placed it in the tank, I noticed I just got a brain. (lord knows I needed one). Anyway I was just wondering how do you take care of it. Is there any special requirements I might be thinking about. What might I look for to seeeif its healthy, or in a dieing state.
john k.
I dont do much john k. I try to feed him shrimp at night when his tentacles are out but he never catches any.He does fine with regular feeding of cyclopees.
