Hey you all I noticed a ro/di unit made by Water General on Ebay. The link is:

Anyone use this system? If so, is it any good? Thanks in advance for any comments.

My airwaterice.com unit brings my TDS from the upper 400 to lower 500 range all the way down to zero. I think I paid a hundred and fifty and got free shipping, and since I was an RC meter paid an extra twenty and got a TDS meter. I am MORE than happy with mine.

I'd be disappointed if mine only brought my TDS down that far...

I'd go for one with clear canisters. The mechanical filters and some DI cartridges can be checked visually that way.

After running 5 gallons thru the system my TDS reads 0. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

I also have a Water General unit from filterdirect. IMHO, one of the best values available. 6 stages, 110 gpd, drinking water kit - all for about $105. Shipping was about $15.

TDS is 0.
