White specs on seahorse tank glass

Hello,

I started noticing these little white specs on our tank glass the other day. They are in a different location each time I see them so I am guessing they are alive. Does anyone know what they are? Are they good, bad or nothing to worry about? Thanks for your help.

White specs, especially moving, white specs, could be any number of things. Probably, they are hatchling snails, which are good....but they could be hydroids, which are bad. A pic would help clear it up for you.

Could be flatworms (looks sort of like horseshoes) or hydroids (look sort of like spiders). My guess is hydroids, since I always seem to get them on a new tank.
