white specks around mouth

My clown has some white flakes/specks around her mouth today.
None anywhere else on the body.
Is this a problem?

My same fish (tomatoe clown) has very much what your's has. WHAT IS IT??? I've no clue! Is your fish better???

No idea what it is, but it went away.

Well, that's good news. How bizarre. How long did it take to go away???

I can't remember, but I think about 3 days.

*sigh* Mine has had this for 4. Gave him 2 freshwater dips the last 2 days, and he looked better, but it's back as of last night. His only other symptom is loss of appetite.

Hmmm, my fish didn't show any adverse affects.
She ate and behaved normally.

Hopefully somebody here can help identify what it is.
