Remora Question Skimmer not skimming

I just bought a remora its hooked up to my new system whcih i just put rock and sand (live of course). The skimmer inst making enough bubbles to go into the cup.? is there somthing im doing wrong. The foam is only going halfway up and doesnt reach the cup.!!! Then it drop back down.

Do i need to tighten somthing? or loosen?

How long have you had it operating? It normally takes a few days for the foam to make it into the cup with a new skimmer and a new system.

yeah i ust purcahased it, its only been running maybe for a day or so. I guess ill keep on waiting, my tank is drity, because of the live rock that in there.

So i thought that would be enoguh to kick start it i guess not.
