Can Mandarins Get ICH

Hi can anyone help me with this question as I know that mandarins have a slime coat over their body and that supposably stops them from getting white spot but is this true as i have seen a pic of a mandarin in a book with ICH What do i beleive?

I had one get ich .....heater crashed and temp went way down. I also have a pair now that gets sand stuck in their slime coat.....looks real similar, but it obviously goes away.

I wonder if a Mandarin can get velvet then?

It was in with the others for a short period. But its been over a month and the Mandarin still shows no signs...

Also can Mandarin be treated with copper?
