ok so im looking for a ?feature? or maybee a policy change??

sometimes I like to read threads that are closed
sometimes closing a thread just keepds it simple (often seen as stickies)

but often times I am un aware of the status of a thread on page 1 when its been closed on page 4, especially when the topic is emotionally charged.

is there any way we can get some kind of thread icon for closed threads, or have a subject tag say its closed like "{closed}" or something ??? or does this exist and I dont see it???

as it works out I would easily skip over a thread I knew i couldnt respond to, ive got a life(well almost :D ), and 2.5 jobs :D (too bad I wasnt kidding on that one) and especially lately ive had to devote less and less time posting to the many areas I have frequented for years.

thanks for reading

If you go to the feedback and question forum view you will see a sticky thread at the top with this icon on the left: http://reefcentral.com/forums/images/hotlockfolder.gif

That is how you can tell if a thread is locked.

Also, the "post reply" button at the bottom of each page will say "closed" and it will have a little padlock on it.

I think a better idea would be a little feedback through your mouse, say,..... 110 volts?

that would be fun to setup ;)

sounds good, but starbucks likes my $3.80, and that might keep me awake even longer :D

Now there's a feature that would be worthwhile ;) .
