I need/ want to place some power heads to promote current in my 180g ( 6' x 2' x 2') I think 3 should be enough for where I want to direct the flow. But I am not sure of how much output/flow I need. I want to create some extra current, but I don't want to buy something too strong that will knock everything over.
Thanks for your help!

I have 3 Maxi Jets 295 for mine ... For the price they aren't bad.

Hi,
The SEIO 820 is a decent PH that falls between the MJ and Turbelle's. I like mine, puts out a nice soft flow that moves a lot of water. Do a search on it many people are using them now with good results.

Rated around 820 gph, supposedly a little higher when run in a Tunze like configuration (eg - no cover) - which is what I do.
