treating of the ick

aight here is the story
my g/f was trying to be sweet and went and got me a pair of percula clowns from deathco on her way over the other day, so just befor putting them in my tank i noticed they had i very small amount of ick spot on them so i grabed a 10g out of the garage and took some water from the main tank mixed with some fresh water to drop the salt level down and dumped the fish in.

now my main question is, would it be bad to add some kinda of structure to the tank to keep the clowns from feeling lonely for there 6 week stay, or is it best not to put anything in it?

You could wrap the sides with thick construction paper, that would make them feel more secure.

You can put some PVC fittings in for hiding places. Helps reduce stress.
