Hi everybody,

I bought a colt coral a while ago and on the rock upon which it was a attached there was a little anemone about the size of a shirt button. It's now the size of a quarter and I've no clue what species it is. It's predominantly green and the tentacles have red tips. The disk is a circle of white surrounding a green center. It doesn't appear to be a very sensitive species - I only have 4x55 watts on a 20gallon and I feed it infrequently yet it seems to do well.

EJ, there is a hitchhiker FAQ on the FAQs page of my site it should help with the ID, there is also an anemone page with some great info as well. HTH

Sorry for the bump, but I have the same thing that hitchhiked in on a bunch of polyp rocks. Any ideas?
