ballast box

I want to house my MH & flourecent ballasts in the same ballast box, but finding one the right size for min $$$$ isn't easy. i've looked at power & fuse boxes, but can't think of anything alse that will work. Is there anything else that will work? I plan on mounting a 3" radio-shack fan to it so the ballasts won't clip due to heat. any thoughts are muchly needed.

Look at Home Depot in the electrical section next to the conduit. They sell the large grey "gutter" or junction boxes. Should only cost you $20.

Diy acrylic box?

Or better yet go to the local Vo-Tech and get them to fabricate a sheet metal enclosure of your own design. Or have them design it for you. These places love real workd projects... you pay for the materials (not even that sometimes)
