Got several pieces yesterday and they are all looking fantastic. I also got to meet several new people from the club. Gentleman all. And very nice families to boot.
Chris s....that xenia did exactly what you said it would. Shrunk up to a smaller ball of little pulsing maniacs. It has a slight blueish hue..not much. A piece of the blue tip broke off on the way home. The plating part. Still has such an unusual shape though. I love it. And the staghorn....the polyps are a definate light green chris. No lie...under the 20k. I can hardly wait for that thing to grow.
Eric....i might have to move some coral away from the hydro (they might bleach...lol). My god man..that thing is sooo bright. Polyps fully extended today and looks very happy. I actually prefer the browner type polyps as opposed to the fully green one fishdoc has. I like the color seperation.
chris....that plating monti is a dark olive under my lighting, with the purple rim. I can see it changing to a more lighter green with time though. You can see underlying pigments of green on the body. That one is gonna be awesome too. The zoa's all opened up and are happy. Those pink ones are to sweet. Purples are very bright too.
goldeaneagle...the three orange ones took a bit longer to open up. But are fully open and reaching up like they want more light. I started them on the bottom. Will move them up shortly. that large paly polyp is happy to. Test kits all worked well. My ph was low, but up this morning. I added quite a bit of distilled yesterday. Thanks for the extra bumble bee snail and the baby hermits.
Does anyone have a decent camera with macro capability? I would be more than happy to pay someone for their time if i could get a some nice macro/full tank shots. I want some to compare growth. I don't have a camera that is worth crap right now, except for a digi that i have no clue how to use. Looking forward to sat...thanks again gentleman for the stuff.
